Area Soldier Killed In Afghanistan Attack

A soldier from The Woodlands area was killed this week when his unit was attacked in Afghanistan, the Department of Defense announced today.
Pfc. Zachary R. Endsley, 21, died Monday in Arghendab District, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, Hohenfels, Germany. Endsley was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church of The Woodlands.
Endsley graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 2004 and enlisted in the Army in December 2005.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
