"The High-Tech Texan” to Talk Home Technology at Home and Garden Show

Houston, TX –– The latest and greatest information in home technology will be available at the Sixth Annual Spring Home and Garden Show in The Woodlands.

The High Tech Texan-Michael Garfield will present "Time to Tech Out Your Home,” during the event, March 8-9 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center, 1601 Lake Robbins Drive.

Garfield, technology expert and host of The High Tech Texan show on The 9-5-0 AM radio station, will share the best ways to upgrade your home technology and the highest quality products on the market.

Garfield will answer home technology's most common questions: "Is it most beneficial to purchase a plasma or LCD TV?, How do you install a wireless network?, What is the difference between HD-DVD and Blu-Ray? He will also discuss new opportunities in home automation.

In addition to working as a popular radio host and key figure in the technology industry, Garfield also serves as the technology and Web expert for several media outlets in Texas and on the Web.

"The best part of being involved in a home and garden show is the opportunity to give the public immediate answers to their questions,” Garfield said. "They don't have to worry about going into a store and getting answers from someone who is on commission.”

The Sixth Annual Spring Home & Garden Show at The Woodlands takes place Saturday, March 8, 9:00am–7:00pm and Sunday, March 9, 10:00am-6:00pm. at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center, 1601 Lake Robbins Dr., The Woodlands, Texas, 77380.

Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and children under 12 are admitted free. FREE covered parking provided in the Convention Center garage on Six Pines with walkway to the hotel. Valet parking is available at the Hotel entrance, just 100 feet from the Convention Center.
