Dynamo Signee Returns Home to Finish High School

Houston, Texas --  On Thursday, February 5, the Houston Dynamo announced that recently signed Forward Felix Garcia, 19, has returned to Laredo, Texas to finish high school before joining the team.

According to a statement by the team there is no timetable for Garcia's return, but his player rights reamin with the Dynamo. During his abscence, Garcia will not occupy a roster spot and upon his return a decision will be made on his position on the roster.

Below is an excerpt from the team's issued statement regarding forward Felix Garcia:

“Upon his return, the Dynamo will determine the appropriate developmental path for him as a player and as an individual. The outcome of this decision, when made, will determine his roster status. He is a talented young man with a bright future and, as a result, we are going to be very patient with him as he develops and matures.”
