Teens Arrested for Gas Station Robbery

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- October 27, 2009 -- Early Tuesday morning, at approximately 2:19 a.m., MCSO patrol units responded to the Texaco Gas Station located at 24627 I-45 in reference to a robbery in progress.
Four male suspects reportedly beat and robbed the clerk at gunpoint then fled the scene in a white Mitsubishi Montero. A witness was pulling into the gas station as the suspects were robbing the clerk. The witness followed the suspect’s vehicle down numerous streets while calling police on his cell phone. The witness advised that the suspects fired at him at least one time while he was following them. The witness chased the suspect’s vehicle into the former Wal-Mart parking lot on Sawdust Road.
Police arrived and engaged in pursuit of the suspect vehicle. The vehicle exited the Wal-Mart parking lot heading west on Sawdust road, where it then wrecked into a fence. The suspects exited the vehicle and fled into the adjacent field. Three of the suspects were initially caught and arrested not far from the scene of the accident. The fourth suspect was located and arrested walking in the area at approximately 8 a.m. The gun used in the robbery and items stolen from the clerk, including the money, were recovered.
Michael Duane Honc, 17 of New Caney; Shonnerek Falls, 17 of Spring; Kevin Lee Williams, 17, of Spring; and a juvenile, 14, from Spring, were arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery and Evading Arrest.
