Register now for Fall Recreation Programs

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands Recreation Center offers a variety of fall programs for the entire family. Registration is required, so please visit the Community Associations' Web site, and click Register for Recreation Programs, or stop by The Recreation Center at 5310 Research Forest Drive, telephone 281 210-3950. Here are some program highlights:
Bring a blanket and chairs to Movies in the Park @ Waterway Square® and see Kung Fu Panda. The entire family will enjoy this free event, and popcorn and drinks will be sold. 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, at Waterway Square®.
Bring your mat and water bottle to Yoga in the Park at Northshore Park every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 – 11:15 a.m. Yoga for ages 16 and up is $15/class or $155 for all six weeks.
Autumn Hay-Day is a fun-filled afternoon that will entertain your whole family! Festivities include a hayride, cupcake walk, pumpkin decorating, autumn crafts, music and snacks galore. 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 15, at The Lodge at Rob Fleming Park. $10/child, $5/additional sibling.
Boys and girls ages 7 – 10 will have fun at Youth 6 vs. 6 Soccer, playing, learning and improving the fundamentals of the game. Register now! This nine-week program begins Monday, Nov. 9. $68/resident, $78/non-resident.
Fifth- and sixth-graders will have a great time at the Gorilla Hole, held at the Recreation Center on Friday, Nov. 6 and Friday, Dec. 4. There will be music, games and food from 7 – 9:45 p.m. $7/person.
Teens in eighth grade and up, get ready to hear great music from local bands at Friday Night Jam Session. 7 – 10 p.m., Friday, Nov. 13, at The Woodlands Recreation Center. $5/person.
