District 2 - Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)

Intoxicated Driver Arrested

Sgt. B. Fitzgerald was dispatched to 21 Waterway, parking lot, in reference to Motor Vehicle Accident. Upon arrival, Sgt. Fitzgerald observed a mounted security guard positioned behind a vehicle in an attempt to keep the vehicle from leaving. The driver presented an expired Texas DL, and was identified as a 44-year-old man. The driver smelled strongly of alcohol, had slurred speech and unsteady balance. Field sobriety tests were conducted and the suspect was determined to be under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, class B misdemeanor.

Aggravated Assault Arrest

On December 14, at 9:30 p.m., Deputy R. Moody responded to a disturbance call in the 300 block of Pruitt Road. Upon arrival, he observed a man being detained by two individuals. The suspect was taken into custody and placed into the patrol vehicle. Witnesses advised that the suspect refused to leave and swung his fist and struck one of the witnesses and also pulled a knife. The suspect was arrested for Aggravated Assault, 2nd degree felony.

Man Arrested for Marijuana

Deputy D. Wallace responded to a call on December 16, at 8:58 p.m., in the 25000 block of I-45. The reportee advised that a male suspect had removed a black bag from under the hood of his vehicle. Dep. Wallace observed the driver to be heavily under the influence of drugs or alcohol. His speech was slurred and unintelligible. Marijuana was found in the vehicle, as well as, under the hood. The suspect was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, SJF.

Welfare Check Lands Felony Marijuana Bust

On December 17, at 9:14 a.m., Deputy C. Parks was dispatched to Kittywake Ct. to check on the welfare of the resident. After knocking on the door several times with no response, Deputy Parks checked the front door and it was unlocked. When the door was opened, a strong odor of marijuana was coming from the residence. Deputy F. Cantu arrived and the deputies entered the residence and observed two plastic baggies containing marijuana. The resident was found sleeping. Approximately 20 - 25 pounds of marijuana was recovered from the residence. The male suspect, 24, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, third degree felony.

District 6 - Lt. Tom Ray (Town Center)

Man Arrested for Intoxication at Probation Office

On December 17, at 6:50 p.m., Deputy C. Tate was advised of an intoxicated person attending a substance abuse meeting at the Adult Probation Office on Grogans Mill Road. After locating the suspect, Dep. Tate observed him to have slurred speech; unsteady balance and blood shot eyes. The suspect admitted to taking Xanax and drinking beer. The man, 27, was arrested for Public Intoxication, class C misdemeanor.



District 1 - Lt. Darrel Conn (North County)

Man Arrested for Intoxication

On December 9, at 8:55 p.m., there was a disabled vehicle parked in the right lane of Rose Road, near County Line. The vehicle was occupied by a 26-year-old man who was intoxicated and could not safely operate the vehicle. This man was arrested and charged with public intoxication.

Family Assault

On December 11, at 2:00 p.m., Dep. Terrell was dispatched to the 5000 block of Serenity North, in Willis, in reference to an Assault/Family Violence. This investigation resulted in issuing class "C" Assault citations to both a woman and a man. This case is referred to Justice Court for disposition.

Wanted Man Arrested After Verbal Dispute

On December 14, at 12:37 a.m., Sgt. Hammons was dispatched to the 15000 block of Paradise Cove, in Willis, in reference to Family Violence. The investigation revealed that the disturbance had been only verbal. Further investigations revealed that the 43-year-old man involved had a Felony Warrant issued by the Texas Pardon and Parole for Parole Violation. The warrant was confirmed and he was transported to male booking without further incident.

Unregistered Sex-Offender Arrested for Warrant

On December 15, at 6:15 a.m., Deputy Buckner was dispatched to the 12000 block of Eva, in Conroe, in reference to a Criminal Mischief. The original complainant had contacted the Sheriff's Office because a neighbor had damaged a vehicle. A report was issued for the reported offense. Further investigation also revealed that the complainant had an outstanding warrant for failing to register as a sex offender. The fifty-year-old man was taken into custody on a Harris County warrant.

District 3 - Lt. Jim Fleming (East County)

District 4 - Lt. Art Galloway (West County)

A/C Unit Stolen

On December 11, Deputy T. Messina was dispatched to a theft call on Canterbury in Magnolia. Upon arrival, he met with the complainant (owner) of the mobile home. The complainant advised that his tenant had contacted him and stated that the outside A/C unit had been stolen. The estimated cost to replace the unit is $2,000.

Copper Wire Stolen

On December 11 Deputy G. Kerr was dispatched to take a theft report. Dep. Kerr met with the complainant who is a Tech with Eco Resources, Inc. The complainant stated that sometime between December 1 and December 11, someone had removed the gate to the water plant on Wright Road. The person(s) then entered the electrical junction box and stole 100 ft of #0 copper wire. The junction box was also damaged during the theft. The estimated loss is $3,000.

Home Burglary

On December 12, Deputy T. Messina was dispatched to a burglary of a habitation call on Dundee in Magnolia. Upon arrival, Dep. Messina met with the complainant and he was advised someone had entered the residence and stolen jewelry, clothing and boots. The estimated loss reported is $2,620.

Tools Stolen From Storage Shed

On December 12, Sgt. J. Moya was dispatched to Green Persimmon Lane in Magnolia in response to burglary of a building call. Upon arrival, Dep. Moya met with the complainant who stated that someone had entered his storage shed and taken air nail guns and a Black & Decker 7 ¼ inch circular saw off one of the shelves. The total dollar loss reported to be $1,300.

Pump Damaged

On December 14, Deputy A. Gurka was dispatched to Decker Prairie Rd in Pinehurst, TX in reference to criminal mischief. Upon arrival, she met with the complainant who advised that someone had caused damage to the well pump motor of TNG Utility Corp. As a result the pump burned out and will have to be replaced at a cost of $20,000.

Home Burglary

On December 15, Deputy T. Slusher was dispatched to Dundee in Magnolia in reference to burglary of a habitation. Upon arrival, it was apparent that entry to the residence had been forced by prying open a bedroom window. After meeting with the complainant, Dep. Slusher was advised that a Roper clothes dryer had been stolen ($500), copper pipe attached to water heater was damaged ($50), water damage to flooring in bathroom and bedroom area ($2,500), and damage to interior wall of bedroom ($200) for a total loss of $3,250.

Tools Stolen From Building

On December 15, Deputy J. Urban was dispatched to a burglary of a building call on FM 1488 in the Windcrest Plaza Business Park, in Magnolia. Upon arrival, Dep. Urban met with the complainant (the owner of the business park and the vacant building for lease). The complainant stated that when he arrived at 9:00 a.m. that morning he noticed several windows broken out of his vacant building. (This vacant building is where he keeps his supplies for the Dollar Store and the business plaza.) When the complainant entered the building he noticed several boxes and all of his tools were gone. Estimated dollar loss is $1,950.

District 5 - Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)

Man Arrested for Drugs and Intoxication

On December 13, at 9:40 a.m. Deputy C. Favorat and Deputy K. Krolczyk responded to a welfare check at Hwy. 105 West and Navajo Road. The welfare check was in reference to a man that was stumbling around while trying to walk down the road, and was almost hit by a passing vehicle. While checking on the suspect to make sure he was not hurt the deputies found a pill bottle on the suspect, which contained the drug Soma. There was also an empty liquor bottle next to him. The suspect did not have a prescription for the drugs. The suspect was arrested for Possession of a Dangerous Drug and Public Intoxication. He was placed in the Montgomery County Jail with bond set at $750.

Office Building Burglary

On December 12, at 7:30 a.m. Deputy D. Wiesepape responded to a Burglary of a Building call in the 13100 block of FM 149. The complainant said that he had left his office the day before at 5:00 p.m. and when he returned the next morning found that unknown suspect(s) forced open the back door and stole several computers, monitors hardware and software for the computers. The value of the total loss was $ 8,350. Deputy R. Garlock also took a report of a Burglary at the same location later that morning. This case will be forwarded to the Detective Division for follow up.

Stolen Bike Recovered

On December 10, at 8:22 p.m. Deputy N. Jordan responded to a Theft call in the 4300 block of Nottingham Drive. The complainant reported that his son had gone to a friend's house to visit. He rode his bicycle. The bicycle was parked in the front yard. An unknown suspect(s) stole the bicycle. The cost of the bicycle was $400. The next day Deputy C.D. Flowers recovered the stolen bicycle in a wooden lot around the corner from where it was stolen. The bicycle was returned to the owner. This case will be forwarded to the Detective Division for follow up.

Suspects Assault Man and Pregnant Woman

On December 11, at 6:40 p.m. Deputy C.D. Flowers responded to a Retaliation/Assault call in the 12900 block of Walden Road. The first complainant said that a few days earlier he had assisted the Sheriff's Office with an investigation concerning his place of employment. The suspects went to the complainant's home and when he opened the door the suspect began hitting him in the face. Two other suspects hit the second complainant, who was pregnant, in the stomach when she tried to separate the fight. The case will be forwarded to the Detective Division for follow up and warrants to be issued.
