District 2 - Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)

Receiving Stolen Check/Possession of Dangerous Drug

On December 24, at 12:51 a.m., Deputy S. Cranston was dispatched to Wal-mart at 10001 Woodlands Parkway in reference to a Forgery in progress. Dep. Cranston made contact with a man, 31, who advised that a friend had printed the check with someone else's routing number on it. The male tried to pass the check for $532.92, but when an employee tried to verify the account the bank advised that it was a bad check. Dep. Cranston also found the man to be in possession of Xanex and Soma. The man was charged with receiving a stolen check, class A misdemeanor and possession of a dangerous drug, class A misdemeanor, and transported to male booking.

Possession of a Controlled Substance/Public Intoxicaiton

On December 14, at 4:10 a.m., Deputy T Conklin was dispatched to 27501 IH 45 Feeder Rd. in reference to a road hazard. Upon his arrival, he made contact with a man, 21, who advised that his vehicle had broke down. Dep. Conklin performed a field sobriety test on the man due to his bloodshot eyes and being unsteady on his feet. Due to being a danger to himself or others the man was taken to male booking to be charged with Public intoxication, class C misdemeanor. While conducting a search a Xanex pill was found in his pocket for which he was also charged with Possession of a controlled substance, class A misdemeanor.

District 6 - Lt. Tom Ray (Town Center)

Aggravated Robbery

On December 22, at 11:13 p.m., Deputy T. Conklin was dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands, The Woodlands Mall Pretzel Time, in reference to a robbery. The victim stated a black male and hispanic male entered the office and put a gun to her head and demanded money. The victim said she screamed and the males left the location running out of the mall. There were numerous witnesses to the incident. Sgt. B Herring was on location and detained 2 of the 3 suspects involved in the robbery. A white male, 19, was transported to male booking and a 16-year-old hispanic male was transported to Juvenile detention, both charged with Aggravated Robbery, F/1. The third suspect was able to get away at that time, but information has identified him as a 16-year-old black male also to be charged with Aggravated Robbery, F1.

Theft/Assault

On December 23, at 3:34 p.m., Deputy C Tate was dispatched to the Wal-mart at 3040 College Park Dr. Loss Prevention called in reference to two shoplifters in custody. A man, 21, and a woman, 19, were arrested on charges of theft, class B misdemeanro, after walking out of the store without paying for a DVD player. The man was also charged with Assault, class A misdemeanor, for striking one of the loss prevention officers in the face.

Theft

On December 21, at 6:05 p.m., Deputy J Parker was dispatched to Wal-mart at 3040 College Park Dr. Loss Prevention called in reference to a shoplifter, who they observed enter the store acting as though they had an item to return. The woman went to the electronics department where she placed 2 DVD players in her cart. The female removed the label from her box and placed it on the box of a new DVD player. The woman then exited the store without paying for the items. The woman, 42, was charged with Theft, class B misdemeanor, and transported to Female Booking.

District 3 - Lt. Jim Fleming (East County)

Teens Arrested for Public Intoxication

On December 22, Deputy C. Evans was attempting to stop a vehicle on Riverwalk Drive for a traffic violation when the vehicle sped away. Dep. Evans chased after the vehicle and finally stopped the subject in the 19100 block of Serpenteer Drive. The 18-year-old male driver from Porter was arrested at 3:30 a.m. and at approximately 3:38 a.m. the 18-year-old male passenger from Houston was also arrested for public intoxication. Both males were transported to jail.

Step-Son Arrested for Family Violence

On December 23, Deputy C. Turrentine was notified of a family violence call in the 23400 block of Stoneshire. Deputies had been at the location three previous times with the male suspect leaving prior to their arrival. On this particular call the Deputy arrived and observed the man attempting to flee into the woods. Dep. Turrentine stopped the man. The male complainant, the suspect's step-father, advised that his step-son had caused a disturbance three times and this time the step-son damaged the complainant's truck, struck him on the face and knocked the phone out of his hand as he was calling 9-1-1. The 38-year-old man from New Caney was arrested at 12:37 a.m. and transported to jail.

Car Burglar Caught

On December 24, Deputy C. Evans was sent to Pioneer Lane in reference to a trespasser. upon arrival, Dep. Evans met with the complainant who was detaining another man that had broken into one of their vehicles. The suspect had fled and was stopped by family members. The 43-year-old man, address unknown, was arrested at 12:50 a.m. and transported to jail.

Son Arrested for Family Violence

On December 24, Deputy C. Turrentine was notified of a family violence call in progress in the 23700 block of Carmen Lane. Dep. Turrentine met with the female complainant who advised that her son was acting violent, threatened her and had attempted to strike her. The 19-year-old man was arrested at 5:57 a.m. and transported to jail.

Drunk Man Arrested Walking in Street

On December 24, Deputy G. Jackson was dispatched to the 23400 block of Hwy 59 in reference to a welfare check. A male was seen walking in the roadway by numerous witnesses. The man was found to be highly intoxicated and was arrested at 11:25 p.m. and transported to jail.

Father Arrested for Family Violence

On December 25, Deputy C. Turrentine responded to the 23600 block of Tejas Lane in reference to a welfare concern. Dep. Turrentine met with the female complainant who advised that her husband was intoxicated and had grabbed her by the hair and slammed her to the ground while she was holding their baby. The 25-year-old man from Porter was arrested at 3:14 a.m. and transported to jail.

Intoxicated Woman Arrested

On December 25, Deputy J. Armstrong was sent to the 24000 block of Loop 494 in reference to a welfare concern. Upon arrival, Dep. Armstrong met with EMS personnel who advised him that they had responded to the location and found an intoxicated woman who refused to speak with them. The 44-year-old woman from San Jose, CA, was arrested at 9:10 p.m. and transported to jail.

Drunk Father Arrested at Bar

On December 26, Deputy C. Murray was notified of a civil call in the 14100 block of Tommy Smith Road. Dep. Murray met with a woman who had been waiting to get her child from the child's father. The father never showed up and the woman located him and the child at a bar. The father was intoxicated. The 29-year-old man from Conroe was arrested at 11:46 p.m. and transported to jail.

Man Arrested for Drug Possession

On December 28, Deputy J. Armstrong was sent on a welfare check in the 27600 block of FM 1485. A witness had seen a man walking in the middle of the road and attempted to help the man when he became belligerent toward the witness. Dep. Armstrong located the man and after detaining him due to public intoxication and subsequent search, Dep. Armstrong located 0.18 oz. of marijuana and 1.1 gram methamphetamine on the subject. The 33-year-old man from New Caney was arrested at 10:00 p.m. and transported to jail.

Man Arrested for Swinging Ax at Wife

On December 28, Corporal E. Ward responded to the 22800 block of Cumbre Drive in reference to a family violence. Upon arrival, Dep. Ward met with the female complainant who advised that she and her husband had gotten into a verbal argument and she went into the bedroom. The male then demanded she open the door, at which time she did. The man had an axe in his hand and entered and swung it several times striking the bedposts causing several cuts in the wood. The woman felt threatened. The 58-year-old man from Porter was arrested at 11:00 p.m. and transported to jail.

Man Pulls Gun Over Road Rage Incident

On December 28, Deputy C. Murray was sent to the 21200 block of W. Knox Drive in reference to a disturbance call. Dep. Murray met with the male complainant who advised that a man had come on his property and accused him of an earlier road rage incident. The man was yelling at the complainant and walked up and shoved the complainant in the chest. The man then pulled a pistol out and pointed it at the complainant and told him he was going to shoot him. The complainant then punched the suspect on the face. The complainant then ran back into his residence and called police. The 31-year-old man from Porter was arrested at 11:45 p.m. and transported to jail.

Husband and Wife Arrested for Assaulting Each Other

On December 29, Deputy C. Turrentine was dispatched to the 23400 block of Heidi Lane in reference to a family violence call in progress. Dep. Turrentine arrived and met with a woman who advised that her husband was holding her children inside the residence with a knife and would not let them go. She stated that he had beaten her and hit her with picture frames. She was intoxicated. The man stated that his wife attacked him and hit him with a picture frame. Both subjects had cuts indicating violence had taken place. There were no children in the residence. The 30-year-old man and 29-year-old woman, both from New Caney, were arrested at 10:45 p.m. and transported to jail.

Shoplifter Arrested at Wal-Mart

On December 30, Deputy C. Murray was sent to the Wal-Mart in Porter for a theft call. Dep. Murray met with the loss prevention officer who was detaining a woman that had left the store without paying for $111.64 in merchandise. The 36-year-old woman from Conroe was arrested at 12:40 a.m. and transported to jail.

Man Arrested for Threatening Fiance

On December 30, Deputy J. Varnell was notified of a family violence call in the 11700 block of Wren Road. Upon arrival, Dep. Varnell met with the female complainant who advised that her finance had been drinking and they got into an argument. The man held her down and threatened to smash her head with a beer bottle. The 25-year-old man from Fresno, TX, was arrested at 7:45 p.m. and transported to jail.

Drunk Man Passes Out in Vehicle

On December 30, Sgt. B. Welch was sent to the 100 block of North Park in reference to an intoxicated male passed out in a vehicle. Dep. Welch arrived and observed a highly intoxicated male. The 40-year-old man from Pasadena was arrested at 7:50 p.m. and transported to jail.

A 47-year-old woman from Conroe was arrested at 2:30 p.m. on December 10, near Crockett Martin Road and Hwy 105, by Corporal K. Hayden for a possession of a dangerous drug warrant out of Montgomery County. Cpl. Hayden had stopped the woman on a traffic violation. The woman was transported to jail.

A 58-year-old woman from New Caney was arrested at 6:29 p.m. on December 10, in the 21000 block of Punkin Street, by Deputy A. White and Deputy J. Bruce for an evading arrest/detention warrant and a bail jumping/failure to appear warrant out of Montgomery County. The deputies had been informed of the location of the woman for warrant service. The woman was transported to jail.

A 36-year-old man from Porter was arrested at 10:50 p.m. on December 10, in the 23900 block of Paradise Lane, by Deputy A. White and Deputy J. Bruce for a DWI warrant out of Montgomery County. The deputies had been informed of the location of the man. The man was transported to jail.

A 33-year-old woman from Conroe was arrested at 3:30 p.m. on December 11, in the area of Old Houston Road and Payne, by Corporal K. Hayden for a theft by check warrant out of Montgomery County. The woman had been stopped on a traffic violation. The woman was transported to jail.

A 29-year-old man from Cleveland was arrested at 11:00 a.m. on December 12, in the area of Tram Road and Double T, by Corporal K. Hayden for a possession of prohibited weapon warrant out of Montgomery County. The man had been stopped on a traffic violation. The man was transported to jail.

A 25-year-old male from New Caney was arrested at 3:01 p.m. on December 13, in the 22800 block of E. Oakley Drive, by Deputy C. Azwell for a failure to appear/driving while license suspended warrant out of Montgomery County. Dep. Azwell was investigating a family violence call. The man was transported to jail.

A 25-year-old man from Porter was arrested at 8:20 p.m. on December 14, in the 21100 block of Hwy 59, by Corporal E. Ward for a bond forfeiture warrant out of Montgomery County. Cpl. Ward had met with an HPD officer who was detaining the man. The man was transported to jail.

A 22-year-old woman from Porter was arrested at 4:03 a.m. on December 16, in the 21300 block of Ferne Lane, by Deputy C. Turrentine for a theft by check warrant out of Liberty County. Dep. Turrentine was investigating a family violence call. The woman was transported to jail.

A 28-year-old woman from Conroe was arrested at 5:07 a.m. on December 18, in the 15700 block of Country West Drive, by Deputy C. Evans for possession of a controlled substance bond forfeiture warrant out of Montgomery County. Dep. Evans had received information on the woman's location. The woman was transported to jail.

A 24-year old man from Conroe was arrested at 9:15 a.m. on December 18, in the 16400 block of Twilight Star Court, by Deputy J. Amstutz for two warrants out of JP 4 Montgomery County. Dep. Amstutz was investigating a family disturbance when the man fled the scene. The man was transported to jail.

A 22-year-old woman from New Caney was arrested at 11:45 a.m. on December 21, in the 23600 block of Tejas Drive, by Deputy J. Amstutz for five warrants out of JP 4 Montgomery County. Dep. Amstutz was assisting EMS at the time of arrest. The woman was transported to jail.

A 32-year-old man from Splendora was arrested at 3:00 p.m. on December 21, in the 21000 block of Loop 494, by Corporal K. Hayden for a parole violation warrant. Corp. Hayden had stopped the man on December 14 on a traffic violation when the subject ran. While attending a funeral service at a funeral home on Loop 494, Corp. Hayden recognized the man attending and arrested him. The man was transported to jail.

A 21-year-old man from Village Mills, TX, was arrested at 5:00 p.m. on December 22, in the area of Hwy 59 and FM 1485, by Deputy J. Armstrong for a failure to appear/ theft warrant out of Hardin County. Dep. Armstrong was investigating a disturbance call. The man was transported to jail.

A 21-year-old woman from New Caney was arrested at 1:15 a.m. on December 25, in the area of Dry Creek and FM 1485, by Deputy C. Evans for a theft by check warrant out of Montgomery County. Dep. Evans was investigating an assault. The woman was transported to jail.

A 26-year-old woman from Kingwood was arrested at 9:53 p.m. on December 27, at the Wal-Mart in Porter, by Deputy J. Bruce for public intoxication. She had a female child with her. While searching her purse Dep. Bruce located hydrocodone pills, soma pills and xanax pills. The woman was found to have two warrants out of JP 4 Montgomery County. The child was turned over to the grandmother who was on location. As Dep. Bruce placed the woman in the patrol car a 39-year-old man from Porter approached and said he was the father of the child that had been with the suspect. Dep. Bruce checked the man and found him to have three warrants out of JP 4 Montgomery County and also had hydrocodone pills on him. Both subjects were transported to jail.

A 33-year-old man from Shepard, TX, was arrested at 4:30 p.m. on December 29, in the area of Hwy 105 and Old Hwy 105, by Deputy M. Hooker for a possession of a controlled substance warrant out of Montgomery County. Dep. Hooker had stopped the man on a traffic violation. The man was transported to jail.

A 26-year-old man from Cleveland was arrested at 7:52 a.m. on December 30, in the area of Midline and Midway by Deputy M. Hooker for an evading arrest warrant out of San Jacinto County. Dep. Hooker was investigating a suspicious person call. The man was transported to jail.

Stolen Property Recovered

On December 29, at 10:31 a.m. Deputy K. Krolczyk responded to a Found Property call at the intersection of Brightwood and Fitzgerald Street. Dep. Krolczyk found stolen property of two complainants that live in the Walden Sub-Division. He recovered the property and returned it to the rightful owners.

Man Arrested for DWI

On December 26, at 9:30 p.m. Cpl. J. Staggs was dispatched to a disturbance call in the 18000 block of Hwy. 105 West. While en route, Cpl. Staggs saw a vehicle fitting the description of one of the suspects involved in the disturbance traveling down the road. He stopped the vehicle and discovered the driver was intoxicated. The driver was arrested for DWI and was taken to the Montgomery County Jail. Once there it was discovered that the suspect had been convicted of DWI before. He was placed in jail awaiting bond to be set.

Man Arrested for Distributing to Minors

On December 27, at 1:15 a.m. Deputy J. Wienke along with several other deputies from the District Five responded to a large party in the 12000 block of Thoreau Drive. While at the location the deputies arrested one man for Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor and thirteen (13) juveniles were issued citations for Minor Consuming Alcoholic Beverage. The juveniles were released to their guardians. The bond on the adult who furnished alcohol to the minors was set at $1,000.
