The Woodlands, TX -- As a focus on foot health, Dr. Robert E. Neville and Associates, Medical and Surgical Specialists of the Foot and Ankle are providing Lone star College-Montgomery with five annual scholarships. These scholarships will be in the amounts of $500.00, $400.00, $300.00, $200.00, and $100.00 to be used towards tuition. Any Lone Star College-Montgomery student may enter this scholarship program.
The criteria for the scholarship award is the creation of the depiction of the foot (or feet) in any media such as painting, drawing, collage, printmaking, digital imagery, photography or sculpture. Winners will be featured and displayed in the community to recognize the artist, the project, and foot health month.
Works are to be submitted to Linda Woodward, Chair of Art and Humanities, by April 1, 2008. They will be judged by a panel of community leaders and foot health professionals. Winners will be announced by April 15th.
Dr. Robert E. Neville is a board certified podiatric Physician and Surgeon, ABPS; Fellow, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons; Diplomat, American Board of Podiatric Surgery; Associate, American Academy Podiatric Sports Medicine; and was a Past President, Harris County Podiatric Medical Society. Dr. Neville serves as Surgical Instructor at Houston Podiatric Surgical Foundation, and as Medical Director for Foot Healthcare Centers. He has been professionally caring for the community’s feet and ankles for more than 22 years. With Foot Healthcare Centers located in The Woodlands, Conroe, and the Downtown Houston area, Dr. Neville and his associates provide complete family care of the foot and ankle using the most advanced technology, with a gentle touch.
