THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Area residents will have a chance to enjoy some interesting night-time science later this month. Lone Star College-Montgomery’s astronomy instructor John Wakefield and his students will lead a telescopic tour of the night sky on Wednesday, April 22. Beginning at 7 p.m., in Building A, Room 102 (just off of the Commons), Wakefield will discuss the life and death of stars. Afterward, participants will walk out to the soccer fields where telescopes will point to interesting astronomical features. This event is open to anyone at any age, including students, neighbors, friends, etc.

Telescopes and binoculars will be provided, although attendees are encouraged to bring their own equipment as well.
