Florencia Hassey Named to MCYS Board
THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Montgomery County Youth Services (MCYS) has announced the addition of Woodlands resident Florencia Hassey to their board of directors.
Hassey's extensive business experience in finance, human resources and public relations, as well over 14 years experience in counseling and teaching in Latin America, Europe and the U.S.A., offers the MCYS Board of Directors a depth of expertise to draw on.
“We are excited to welcome Florencia to our board,” said MCYS Board Chair Steve Sanders. “She has a passion for counseling, a passion for teaching and a strong desire to help the youth in our county, which will be a great benefit to our board and MCYS as a whole.”
Hassey sits on the Montgomery County Aggies board for scholarships 2009. She is also Chapter treasurer for the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) at Sam Houston State University and is a member of the Texas Counseling Association (TCA), Sam Houston Association for Play Therapy (SHAPT) and Chi Sigma Iota.
