Trolley Routes Announced for July 4

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Whether they are attending the 12th Annual Red, Hot & Blue Festival, grabbing a bite to eat, or headed out to do some shopping, families will find new trolley routes to better accommodate them as they travel to The Woodlands this Fourth of July weekend.

Beginning Friday, July 3 through Sunday, July 5, The Woodlands Waterway Trolleys will operate from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon – 6 pm on Sunday. Thanks to this service, visitors can park in one spot and hop aboard at one of the eight convenient stops, including:

- Concierge Desk at Market Street – The Woodlands
- Town Green Park (Entrance on Lake Robbins Drive)
- The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion (Main Entrance)
- The Fountains at Waterway Square
- The Restaurant Basin (near The Woodlands Mall)
- The Woodlands Mall South Entrance

“The Woodlands Waterway Trolley is a wonderful amenity for people visiting The Woodlands and we are happy to provide our patrons with an alternative, stress-free form of transportation,” says President of The Woodlands Convention and Visitors Bureau Nick Wolda.

Trolleys will resume their normal routes on Monday, July 6, 2009.
