Friendship Center Receives Aetna Foundation Gift

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- October 23, 2009 -- In recognition of the tremendous need for transportation for seniors needing medical treatment, the Aetna Foundation recently awarded The Friendship Center with a donation of $10,000 to be used to assist those Montgomery County clients over age 60 who lack transportation resources.

The award was given at The Friendship Center’s Annual Meeting on Tuesday, October 20.
