H1N1 Vaccine Clinic to be held Saturday in Willis
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- The University of Texas Medical Branch Montgomery County Health Department will distibute 1,000 doses of H1N1 flu vaccine on Saturday at a free clinic at 9 a.m. at Lynn Lucas Middle School, located at 1304 N. Campbell in Willis.
Another free clinic is scheduled for Dec. 5 at the New Caney Sixth Grade Campus, located at 22784 U.S. 59 S. in Porter.
Distribution of the shots Saturday at Lynn Lucas will be prioritized to people in the following risk groups:
- Pregnant women
- People taking care of children under 6 months old
- Health care workers
- People 6 months to 24 years old
- People 25-64 years old with chronic diseases
Doses of the vaccine will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis via a ticket system beginning at 7 a.m. with shots scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
