IAAP Donates to Gifts for Seniors Program
THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) – Woodlands Chapter wanted to “give back” this holiday season, and with their passion for helping others, the group decided to spread holiday cheer by collecting and donating items to help seniors living in their community.
The IAAP, a group of 80 members, collected and donated new blankets, socks and slippers to Interfaith of The Woodlands’ “Gifts for Seniors” program.
“Volunteering has always been a passion of mine,” said Christina Crawford, representative of IAAP. “When I heard about the holiday program for seniors, I immediately thought about how sometimes they are forgotten, and this would a great opportunity to give to seniors.”
According to Ann Snyder, President and CEO of Interfaith, “Interfaith is truly appreciative of the donation. The donation will help use to make the holidays special for so many individuals.”
