The air was chilly Friday night as the Lady Cavaliers hosted the Lady Highlanders in their first district match of the season.
After 80 minutes of aggressive play on both sides, the Lady Highlanders came out on top, outscoring College Park 5-1. Both sides played excellent defense and the Lady Cavs pushed the entire second half to try and catch the Lady Highlanders' lead, but were unable to.
The two teams will meet again on February 23, this time at The Woodlands High School.
