Aladdin Jr. Brings Music, Dance and Fun

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Class Act Productions presents Disney’s Aladdin Jr., Feb. 26 & 27, at 7:30 p.m. at the Nancy Bock Center for the Performing Arts, located at 3800 S. Panther Creek Drive.

All of your favorite characters are here in this stage adaptation of the Disney hit, including Aladdin, Jasmine, and of course, the Genie. Filled with magic, mayhem, and flying carpet rides, audiences’ spirits will soar with excitement. Most of all, the tuneful, Academy award-winning score with songs including A Whole New World and Friend Like Me will certainly make this musical a favorite for many years to come! Direction by Tina Kraft, Class Acts’ Artistic Director Keith Brumfield will serve as Musical Director, while Tony Smith will provide choreography.

The cast of Class Acts’ production of Disney’s Aladdin Jr. includes Casey Hale (Aladdin); Casey has performed in The Woodlands High School Theatre's productions of, The Man Who Came to Dinner, Little Shop of Horrors, and Twilight Zone. He has also appeared in Class Act Production past performances of Crazy for You, The Sound of Music, Joseph's Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, West Side Story and Oliver. He performed as Gaston in a Class Act Summer Stock Production of Beauty and the Beast.

Megan Miller (Princess Jasmine) is an 8th grader at McCullough Jr. High. Some of her credits include Annie (July), The Music Man Jr. (Marian), The Diary of Anne Frank (Anne), and Greater Tuna (Thurstina). She is also a student of the Academy at Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS).

Rounding out the cast is Adrienne Whittaker (Genie), Jesse Bates (Sultan), George Downham (Jafar), Addie Breaux (Iago) and Rob Hogg (Razoul). The ensemble cast includes Christina Bechtel, Devin Cherry, Fiona Cherry, Sarah Corzine, Annika Crabtree, Megan Doyle, Stefani Evans, Allie Fitzgerald, Jenny Gee, Katie Gonzalez, Allyson Guba, Helen Hansen, Chandler Harvey, Allie Hess, Megan Kenworthy, Eleanor Landsbaum, Brenna Lellich, Julie Lewis, Alex Marshall, Kameryn Mattlingly, Ana Midence, Shanzay Mohammed, Abbey Newlun, Rilee Robinson, Morgan Routh, Jenna Shavor, Devon Sieving, Sidney Sirdashney, Franke Sun, Zoe Tait, Cole Thompson, Emma Thompson, Shelby Thompson, Katherine Turner, Kellyn Werner and Jack Wheeler.

CLASS ACT CARES- The cast members of Disney’s Aladdin, Jr. will be collecting donations for Living Water International- GIVE TO HAITI during rehearsals. Please join our cast members to help the people of Haiti. A box will be available to leave donations at performances.
