THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands Middle School Girls and Young Dolls Lacrosse teams are still accepting players for the 2010 Lacrosse season. The Young Dolls program is made up of of girls in 1st – 4th grade while the Middle School team consists of girls in 5th – 8th grade.

The Woodlands Middle School Girls Lacrosse team recently won 1st place in the 2010 Cy-Fair Girls Lacrosse Tournament. “This championship is a great start to the season and a big boost to the entire girl’s Middle School/Junior High program,” said Coach Eric Wallis. “In just six years of existence we have grown from eight players in the program to over 50 players. This year, we have started a 1st – 4th grade program. Being able to develop our girl’s skills at a younger age for this wonderful sport has meant all the difference in our team’s success already this year.”

Practice is held at Collins Intermediate on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays for middle school players. The Young Dolls practice on Sundays at Legends on Budde Road. For more information, email The Woodlands Middle School Girls and Young Dolls Lacrosse teams at the email link below.
