Concert-in-the-Park Lineup Announced

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The lineup and schedule for The Woodlands Township’s annual Concert-in-the-Park series, presented by Munday Chevrolet, has been released. The spring concert series runs every Sunday evening between March 28, 2010, and April 25, 2010, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Northshore Park, located at 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive.

The spring schedule is as follows:

Mar. 28: Cold Shot (Variety)
Apr. 4: Jimmy Needham (Christian)
Apr. 11: Kyle Hutton Band (Country)
Apr. 18: Toast and Jam (80s/90sVariety)
Apr. 25: Nigel Edison Band (Country)

Concerts are also held in the summer and fall. The summer concert series runs every Sunday between June 6, 2010, and July 4, 2010, from 7 to 9 p.m. The fall series runs Sundays, from October 3, 2010, to October 24, 2010, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The summer schedule is:

Jun. 6: Level One Band (Motown Review)
Jun. 13: Miss Leslie & Her Juke Jointers (Country)
Jun. 20: Fab 5 (British Invasion)
Jun. 27: Patricia Vonne (Spanish Roots Rock)
Jul. 4: Troy Hess & Texas Heartbreakers (Country)

The fall schedule is:

Oct. 3: Akina Adderly (Jazz)
Oct. 10: Swing Thing (Country Swing)
Oct. 17: Fab 5 (British Invasion)
Oct. 24: Johannes Linstead (Smooth Jazz)

Bring a blanket, picnic dinner and lawn chairs to enjoy leisure time with your family! Northshore Park offers plenty of lawn space for tossing balls and Frisbees®, a large playground, two sand volleyball courts and pathways. All bands are family-friendly.
