THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Butterfly Babies and How to Grow Them, featuring Dr. Nancy Greig, director of The Cockrell Butterfly Center, launches the fall 2010 programming for Walk in the Woods Nature Lecture Series on Thursday, September 9, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. at McCullough Junior High School, 3800 S. Panther Creek Drive.

From egg to adult, butterflies interact with plants in all life stages. According to Dr. Greig, gardeners can choose the butterflies they wish to attract by including plants in the landscape that feed butterfly babies—caterpillars.

Walk in the Woods Nature Lecture Series is a free program of The Woodlands Township sponsored by The Woodlands G.R.E.E.N., Waste Management, Hilton Garden Inn and The Pineywoods Nursery.
