Amendola a Starter on Rams' depth chart

Danny Amendola, former All-State wide receiver with The Woodlands High School football team, has been moved to a starting wide receiver for the St. Louis Rams.

This week’s Rams’ depth chart has Amendola starting at wide receiver opposite Laurent Robinson.

Amendola, who was a first team All-State wide receiver in football as well as an All-State selection in baseball for the Highlanders, signed with St. Louis last September and is the Rams’ season record holder for kickoff returns (66), kickoff return yards (1,618), combined kick returns (97) and total return yards (1,978).

After a stellar career at The Woodlands, Amendola went on to do the same at Texas Tech. He ranks fifth all-time at the school with 198 career catches.
