THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Arts in the Park, offered by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department, brings together local entertainers and local artists and their wares. Arts in the Park will be held Saturday, September 11, 18 and 25, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rob Fleming Park, 6055 Creekside Forest Drive.
In addition to a variety of performances, there will also be art for sale, including woodwork, pottery, paintings, crafts and jewelry. This free event, which includes face-painting for the kids, allows the public to enjoy local entertainment while shopping to help promote local arts. Concessions will be available.
The fall Arts in the Park entertainment schedule is:
September 11: Adam & Lena
September 18: Trio Grande
September 25: CYT (Christian Youth Theater)
Local artists and vendors interested in participating in the Arts in the Park program may contact Angel Nicks.
