YMCA Programs Promote Healthy Living and Connect Families
THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The YMCA is committed to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility ensuring that every individual in our communities have access to the essentials needed to learn, grow and thrive. YMCA family programs like Adventure Guides, YMCA Early Child Development, YMCA AfterSchool, and Youth Sports seek to strengthen family ties, instill core values, encourage active lifestyles and provide parents with worry-free options as children and teens head back to school.
“Time and money are at a premium, with more and more families trying to do so much more with fewer and fewer resources,” said Roxanne Davis, YMCA Marketing Director. “Offered in a nurturing and supportive environment, YMCA family programs help to provide a foundation of positive communication, teach positive parenting, mutual respect and create fond memories. Though the world may be unpredictable, one thing remains the same, the Y is and always will be, dedicated to building healthy, confident, connected and secure children, adults, families and communities. Our programs bring families together. ”
