Grogan's Mill Farmer's Market to be year round
THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Grogan's Mill Farmer's Market returns on Saturday, October 1, and marks the start of the year-round market. The market will be open every Saturday 8 a.m. to noon, with the exception of some holidays. It will be open the Saturday after Thanksgiving, but will be closed Dec. 24 and 31, and will re-open again on January 7, 2012.
The market is open rain or shine and features all local vendors offering sustainably grown & organically grown produce, grass fed beef, Texas handmade artisan cheeses, goat cheese, coffee, local honey, breads & pastries, no sugar added baked goods, pancake mixes, marshmallows & hot cocoa mixes, prepared tamales, Indian cuisine & Mediterranean food, natural & goat milk bath sundries, beautiful orchids, olive trees and olive oil.
Please remember, due to the health department regulations, pets cannot be brought into the market area. A shady tent will be set up for you to leave your pet while you shop.
