With Woodlands Marathon, road closures too

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands Marathon is set for Saturday morning but residents not running should expect traffic delays in some areas of the township.

Various outside lanes in The Woodlands will be closed to vehicular traffic between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. If driving north and south, the township recommends residents to use Kuykendahl Road and Six Pines Drive. If traveling east and west, the preferred roads would be Woodlands Parkway and Research Forest Drive.

The race's start line will be on Lake Robbins and the marathon will finish on The Woodlands Waterway.
