Luca & Leonardo’s Daniel Miranda to cook at Waterway Arts Festival

THE WOODLANDS, Texas –– Local Italian restaurant, Luca & Leonardo’s own Executive Chef Daniel Miranda, will represent the art of fine cooking April 14 at this weekend’s Waterway Arts Festival.

Chef will be making some saffron halibut.


Miranda will be at the festival’s Culinary Arts demonstration booth this Saturday at 2 p.m. He’ll be cooking Halibut Allo Zafferano, a braised Halibut filet in saffron cream sauce, a popular dish with restaurant patrons.

The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival is an annual outdoor exhibition where artists of all media come to celebrate and share their various talents. The festival will take place from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m, April 14 -15 on The Woodlands Waterway. Tickets to the festival are $10 per day or $15 for a weekend pass. Children younger than 12 get in free.

Luca & Leonardo Ristorante is an upscale dining destination overlooking The Woodlands Waterway. Luca specializes in Italian cuisine prepared from authentic and traditional Italian recipes under the watchful eye of Miranda. The wine list features labels from around the world, as well as a fixed price wine list showcasing 40 Italian wines priced at $25 a bottle.
