THE WOODLANDS, Texas –– A Woodlands resident’s former housekeeper and an unknown man have been arrested after they were accused of robbing and tying up a woman at her home in The Woodlands.

Woman, unknown man accused of entering home Wednesday.

Deedra Michelle Grubbs, 38, and Bobby Dewayne Grubbs, 42, were arrested Friday in Shelby County after they were supposedly involved in a shooting.

Montgomery County SWAT, DEA Air, DPS troopers and the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force descended on the pair, who were in a stolen vehicle, and arrested them without incident.

Deedra Grubbs was accused of going to a home, at which she used to do housekeeping, at about 10 a.m. on April 25 in the 400 block of Pine Edge near Grogan's Mill Road. The homeowner told Montgomery County deputies that she answered a knock at the door and recognized Grubbs. The former housekeeper asked if the homeowner had any work for her before a man, suspected to be Bobby Grubbs, forced his way through the door and the two allegedly beat and tied up the resident.

The pair then stole jewelry and weapons from the home before leaving.

Deputies arrived at about 11:30 a.m. and first-responders took the victim to a local hospital.
