THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The Woodlands WAVE 13 UA gave back to the community recently.
The WAVE 13 UA team recently did a team bonding event that also "gave back to the community". They went to Build-A-Bear at The Woodlands Mall and made 12 animals to be given to Montgomery County Women's Center.
The bears were dressed and accessorized to meet the needs of the typical child coming into the shelter with their parent. They usually leave in the middle of the night with nothing more than the clothes on their back so to have something comforting and to call their own is a big deal.
The girls really enjoyed this activity and the stuffed animals are greatly needed by the MCWC.
