"Our agency needs funds for our literacy program that benefits not only the underserved children of our county, but the future of our county," Rita Wiltz said, Executive Director for Children's Books On Wheels. "We hope that the community will support us as we support literacy in Montgomery County."

Rico's Mexican Grill is donating food items to the fundraiser as their way of support for the overall impact Children's Books on Wheels has in the community.

"We knew this was a good cause," Faisal Amin said with Rico's Mexican Grill. Literacy matters and what Rita Wiltz is doing is good for our county. We wanted to do our part."

The day will feature music, an authentic Cajun fish fry with all the trimmings and will host the event at Tamina Park covered pavilion rain or shine. Wiltz has also extended a welcome to area firefighters to come join the event in appreciation of the recent incident in Tamina where a fire had been extinguished.

"We are going to have a fire truck for kids to explore and welcome all firefighters to come out on Saturday to be our guest," Wiltz said. "We are so grateful for their recent assistance in Tamina and so grateful for what they do in our county. Together, we are all making a difference."
