Easter Bunny to arrive at The Woodlands Mall March 26

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The Easter Bunny is headed to The Woodlands Mall. He arrives to find a brand new home awaiting him on Wednesday, March 26. Children and adults alike can visit the custom-designed Easter environment “Bunny Hop,” which is teeming with fancifully decorated eggs of varied sizes, prints and patterns. The Woodlands Mall’s “Bunny Hop,” captures the essence of the spring season and is located near Macy’s.

Easter patterns composed of polka dots, stripes and argyle are done in an array of fresh spring hues in Ms. Bunny’s new home. “The color palette we chose is a brightened-up approach to traditional pastels, representing spring in all its glory,” says Noemi Cortez, marketing manager for The Woodlands Mall.

Visitors are greeted with a welcome marquee, a flat-screen television for entertainment during wait time and two large whimsically decorated eggs supporting the bunny’s hours. Guests are invited onto a winding bunny trail outlined in lush green grass and perfectly manicured hedges, leading the way down a meandering pathway to the iconic bunny. Along the way, children won’t have to hunt long to find dozens of playfully arranged eggs, accompanied by 30 newly sprung daisies, hand-painted in sunshine yellow and white.

Visitors to the Easter Bunny get free hugs and a bunny mask and can climb up into the Bunny’s throne, which is a larger-than-life sculpted decorated egg, for a picture. Photos packages will be available for purchase. Hours to visit are:

• Wednesday, March 26 to Tuesday, April 15, the bunny will be at the center Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12 to 6 p.m.

• Wednesday, April 16 to Saturday, April 19, he is available for visits from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. He will be here until Saturday, April 19.

Pet Nights with the Easter Bunny. On Mondays, April 7 and 14 from 6 to 8 p.m., The Woodlands Mall invites pet owners to bring cats and dogs to visit with the bunny and have a photo taken. Cats and dogs on a leash or in an appropriate carrier only, please. Animals, other than those servicing the disabled, are not allowed in the shopping center other than during special pet nights. Pet owners are asked to use the mall’s acorn entrance next to Macy’s.

The Woodlands Mall will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 20. Some stores, restaurants and entertainment venues at the shopping center may keep different hours. Please call for exact opening and closing times.
