YMCA spring sports registration underway

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- YMCA Youth Sports’ programs encourages and promotes healthy and strong kids and is a great start to a lifetime of health and wellness. At the YMCA our values are always in play . . . caring, faith, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Registration deadline is April 7
Registrations are underway at the South Montgomery County YMCA for Mid-Spring youth sports. The sports to be offered include VOLLEYBALL for 2nd – 9th Grade; SOCCER for ages 3 years – 7th Grade; BASKETBALL for K-9th grade; BASEBALL/T-BALL for ages 3 years-4th Grade. Registration deadline is April 7. Games begin April 26.?
For the families living in the Rayford Road Area, east of I-45, the Y offers a BASEBALL/T-BALL League, for students, ages 3 years-2nd Grade, with most games and practices held in your community.
At the South Montgomery County YMCA, every child is a winner. The Y is turning sports skills into life skills by offering youth sports programs that combine the YMCA philosophy of fair play, teamwork, and inclusiveness to build healthy spirit, mind and bodies. Y Youth Sports help young people to become better players by emphasizing skill development not competition. Everyone plays and everyone wins at the YMCA. Each athlete is treated as an equal and plays in every game regardless of skill level.
The YMCA is a not-for-profit, volunteer based charitable organization. We strongly encourage parents to be more than spectators by getting involved as volunteer coaches, team parents and officials as well as being your child’s biggest fan.
