THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Strykers made a late run scoring three times in the final three innings but it wasn’t enough as the Bombers pulled out a 6-3 win.

The Strykers had the bases loaded in the top of the eighth and scored twice when Coll Stanley was hit by a pitch followed by a Roosevelt Henderson walk. Brazos Valley would bring in their closer to thwart a Strykers come back. Stanley had a hit and scored a run in the seventh inning.

Taylor Rich and Justin Barton pitched the final three innings for the Woodlands as they combined for five strikeouts and allowed zero earned runs.

The Woodlands wrap up their six game home trip tomorrow as they play the Bombers at 7:05pm. The Strykers will play at home tomorrow as they host the Acadiana Cane Cutters.
