THE WOODLANDS, TX -- On December 29, 2022, the Montgomery County Pct. 3 Constable’s Office was dispatched to the Select Physical Therapy located at 2306 Rayford Rd. in Montgomery County, Texas. Patrol deputies received a report that a physical therapist sexually assaulted a patient. Upon arrival, deputies were able to identify William Abalos as the suspect in this case. The case was turned over to Pct. 3 detectives for investigation. During the investigation, detectives learned of an additional victim that reported being assaulted by Abalos while receiving physical therapy treatment. Detectives were able to determine that Abalos was video recording patients while providing treatment as a result of the investigation. The recordings were made without the consent or knowledge of the patients. Abalos used his personal cell phone to make the video recordings. Detectives also learned that while Abalos was recording, he exposed his sexual organ and intentionally made contact with the patients by placing his sexual organ on their body without consent. On January 25, 2023, an arrest warrant was issued for Abalos and he was apprehended in the Mission Bend area located in Fort Bend County, Texas. Abalos is currently being held in the Montgomery County Jail on a $175,000 dollar bond. Detectives believe there maybe more victims in this case. The Pct. 3 Constable’s Office is asking for anyone with information pertaining to Abalos to contact (281) 364-4211 and ask to speak with a detective.
