THE WOODLANDS, TX – As we splashed our way through the cold rains this week, the Friday gods have opted to do a one-eighty and give us some warmer, drier, and sunnier weather this weekend.

Warmer and drier make for a fun weekend

The morning clouds will suddenly disappear as the morning progresses, with barely a white wisp left behind. Our highest temperature of the day, 58, will hit the same time our lowest humidity does, around four o’clock this afternoon. Then the temps will once again plummet into the 30s with the barest chance of overnight rain. This evening, you can warm things up a bit by catching legendary singer Ronnie Milsap at Dosey Doe - The Big Barn.

Saturday will be remarkably gorgeous, with moderate winds keeping things cool as the high hits the mid 60s. The morning will be cloud free, but some coverage will start creeping in during the afternoon and halfway cover the skies throughout the night as we enjoy a warmer sleep with the low in the upper 40s. With this practically perfect Polynesian weather, it’s a great chance to head over to Margaritaville for their all-weekend-long Lone Star Luau Music Fest. Dropping pressure and a high humidity might bring some rains during the sleeping hours, but nothing too drastic and gone away soon enough.

On Sunday, the continually dropping pressure and rising dew point will make it the warmest day yet, with a high of 72 under partly cloudy skies. It’s not too late to secure your tickets to the 40th anniversary celebration gala of the Cypress Woodlands Junior Forum. Around midnight that night, the clouds will briefly disappear in honor of a low temp in the 50s, but as Monday morning dawns, the clouds – and possibly rains – will return with a vengeance for the next couple of days…
