Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission to hold special Veterans Day commemoration this weekend

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission is holding a special Veterans Day commemoration ceremony this Saturday at Veterans Memorial Park, 1776 Freedom Blvd in Conroe. Activities start at 9 o’clock in the morning.

“Come out to honor and celebrate our veterans who have honorably served this great nation,” said Elizabeth Woods, director of the commission, in a statement.

This free event is open to the public. Activities will include covered seating for the program, patriotic music, guest speakers, the Dedication of ‘The Line,’ and the groundbreaking ceremony. Golf cart shuttles and ample parking will be made available at the Park & Ride lot across the street.
