Firefighters Respond to Vehicle Fire at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital Parking Garage

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Just after 6:00 AM this morning, The Woodlands Fire Department (TWFD) was dispatched to Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital to assist the Conroe Fire Department (CFD) with a vehicle fire in the parking garage.

Engine 106 was the first unit to arrive on the scene and reported a vehicle fully engulfed in flames on the fourth floor of the garage. Firefighters quickly accessed the standpipe system within the structure and made their way to the affected area to suppress the fire.

Once the flames were extinguished, crews worked diligently to ventilate the parking garage and remove lingering smoke. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by CFD officials.

The incident response also included support from the Montgomery County Hospital District and Needham Fire & Rescue/Montgomery County ESD #4.
