Full job description
North Houston commercial construction firm seeking Administrative Assistant with experience in coordinating and scheduling in the commercial construction industry.

Responsibilities:

-Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning, implementation to completion.
- Work closely with project managers and superintendents and several subcontractors on multiple projects at once.
- Maintain a detailed schedule throughout each day covering all tasks needed for each project and ensures the project managers and superintendents complete tasks needed as scheduled.
- Maintain high standards and adheres to original plans and specifications.
- Complete projects on budget and on schedule.
- Prepare scope of work, review bid requests and submittals.
- Follow up with subcontractors for required documents, schedule changes, schedule confirmations, bid changes and invoices.

Skills and Experience

- 3+ years experience in a key role scheduling, coordinating and/or managing projects in the construction industry required.
- 3+ years heavy scheduling, project coordinating/managing and timeline/deadline oriented required.
- Leadership experience in like kind role preferred.
- Must have ability to accurately multi-task and handle multiple projects at once with detail and certainty.
- Previous experience working with subcontractors in construction field preferred.
- Must be results driven and deadline oriented.
- Must be highly proficient in managing a high volume of emails and phone calls and must communicate effectively.
- Must be a fast paced worker able to juggle a high number of tasks.
- Must be a problem solver with ability to think quick and use sound judgement.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm consistently.
- Must be able to work in the office full-time, Spring, TX location.

Compensation: $50,000-$60,000, paid time off, no healthcare or 401k benefits offered by company.
