THE WOODLANDS, TX – Anthony ‘Tony’ R. Gullo, age 90 of Magnolia, passed away June 16, 2024. Gullo was the owner of three dealerships in the Montgomery County region: Gullo Ford, Gullo Toyota, and Gullo Mazda. His local automotive career began in 1992 when he purchased a Conroe dealership and changed its name to Gullo. Three years later he bought his first franchised dealership, and since then he had built Gullo Auto Group to a considerable business giant that had a profound positive impact on the community. Today, each of his three sons runs a dealership.

His impact on the community was felt with his involvement in Gullo Christmas For Kids, Conroe Kidzfest, Parents Against Cancer, South County Football League (SCFL), Orwall Baseball Park, Montgomery County American Red Cross, Child Advocates of Montgomery County (CASA), Rotary Clubs of Montgomery County, Boy and Girl Scouts of America, Kiwanis and Knights of Columbus Clubs, Montgomery County Fair, and numerous other charities, events, and fundraisers.

“Our dad, Tony Gullo, was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Family meant the world to him. We treasure the memories of our many adventures spent together traveling the world. The fun and laughter we shared are priceless,” said his family in Gullo’s obituary. “After 71 years together, he left this earth holding the hand of his ‘Babe’ and surrounded by his children and grandchildren. We loved him dearly, and hope to carry on his zest for life and spirit of giving. The impact he made on those who knew him will not soon be forgotten. As he said just before passing, ‘It’s been a good run.’”

In lieu of flowers, family members ask that mourners please make donations to Gullo Christmas for Kids, 500 I 45 S., Conroe, TX 77304
