Boaters are still urged to use extreme caution due to possible floating debris and submerged objects

Boaters are still urged to use extreme caution due to possible floating debris and submerged objects that may not be fully visible. With submerged bulkheads, lake area residents should also be cautious of electrical outlets and equipment coming into contact with water.

The level of Lake Conroe is currently 201.21 feet above mean sea level (msl). SJRA manages Lake Conroe water level any time the lake level exceeds 201 feet above msl. SJRA is currently releasing water from the Lake Conroe dam in accordance with its reservoir operating procedures to gradually lower the water level back to conservation pool of 201 feet above msl.
