HTX Soccer and Club de Fútbol Monterrey "Rayados" recently hosted an ID Youth Scouting Event at Gosling Sports Park with professional scouts and HTX Boys ECNL coaching staff observing the talent in attendance. Current HTX and 130 new players (2006-2009) from outside of the club were evaluated over the two day period. This was the first of multiple scouting events and initiatives planned as part of the collaborative relationship between the two clubs at the academy level.

"This was a tremendous event with some of the top players across Houston being showcased in front of the Rayados professional scouts and the HTX ECNL coaching staff," said Alex Cardenas, Boys Academy Director.  "This was another example of the Rayados partnership working superbly and we'll use this identification program to build upon for future networking events between both clubs."
