Phat Eatery - so popular they're selling out

We know that every business wishes they have the issues of Phat Eatery's inaugural weekend in The Woodlands. The Malaysian street food restaurant -- built on the ashes of the former Fudrucker's in Grogan's Mill Shopping Center -- was so anticipated by local diners that they actually had to shut down for an afternoon or two to restock their depleted shelves.

Billed as 'fresh Malaysian street food + warm hospitality by 2022 James Beard Award Semifinalist Alex Au-Yeung,' the menu includes an award-winning beef rendang, curry laksa, nasi lemak, sizzling egg tofu and flaky roti canai in addition to stir-fried noodles, rice and vegetable dishes, house dim sum, and seasonal specials.

Fortunately, they've increased their supply to meet the demand, so chances are you can hit Phat at any time during their normal business hours and get served; however, we encourage you to make reservations on their website, just to be sure.

As an added incentive to whet your appetite, anyone leaving a review in July will be eligable for a $500 drawing on August 1.
