Roomba 989 Robot Vacuum - $175 - Works Wonderfully on Hard & Carpet Floors

You can literally plug this in, charge it, and let it roam your house, and it picks up _everything_. It's wonderful. And the vac 'bag' is a breeze to empty.
Battery is in good condition and cleans and then recharges back at home base if required (all parts included - Roomba unit and home base).
Can be (optionally) controlled via phone app ('iRobot') or you can just push a button to make it clean
The parts that touch the floor (the rollers) are clean, but they can easily be replaced if you prefer (ie using someone else's vacuum is 'unclean' for some people; there is only one part that needs to be cleaned here, and I've cleaned it nicely.)
I love mine. This is a smart one that doesn't jump bump around the floors everywhere - it builds a smart map and 'walks' around accordingly.
This was the high end until the S9 came out ($600+ - they aren't cheap.)

The reason you should buy iRobot Roomba products is they are USA supported, and they parts are EASILY available at Amazon and even BestBuy and other local stores, so if you do need new parts (say, a roller or a brush or something simple) All the stores can help you and you can replace the part. That's a huge advantage compared to the onslought of Chinese no-name brands out there today.
