Car DVD Player - Dual Screens W / Seat Back Straps & 2 Power Sources/Cords
Used on one family trip from Texas to Florida and back. This unit entertained our two children and made the trip very pleasant for the kids and the adults. Was able to take the unit into the hotel room and plug it into the wall outlet so the kids could continue watching their DVDs. Other uses would be to take on trips when you fly someplace and have the kids watch movies in the hotel room (or relatives house) and free up the TV for the adults..
NOTE:
1) 1st color monitor displays the video in colore and has both (a) built in speaker that works; and (b) an external headphone jack (headphones not included) that works. I will include a Y-adapter [so two wired listening devices can work together (headphones/earbuds-not included)]
2) 2nd color monitor displays the video in color, however, neither (a) the built-in speaker nor (b) the external headphone jack produces any sound (headphones not included)
3) the DVD player has a built-in speaker jack that does not produce any sound.
*The DVD sound will come from the 1st color monitor's built-in speaker and external headphone jack (headphones not included). Using the included "Y" adapter, two headphones or two earbuds can be used at the same time to provide a listening exprience for two people or the built-in speaker can be used for several people to listen. (note: a comment was made that the built-in speaker's volume was "too low", however, I do not find that to be the case for my enjoyment. The headphone jack produces very loud volume)
4) this inconvenience of DVD color monitor #2 not able to produce sound is the reason for the substantial discount on the price.
