Vintage Stone Carved African Tribal Head Bust Sculpture Statue Photos
Description
This hand carved stone African head is in beautiful condition. The only flaws I can see are two tiny chips on the middle of each ear. You can see them in the pictures but they are not at all conspicuous. I carried this home personally from South Africa where it was gifted to me by a colleague. It has been on my mantle ever since, but circumstances have changed and I no longer have a place for it. Note the interesting contrast in color and texture between the hair/beard and the remainder of the sculpture. In my opinion, this one is special compared with others you may see for sale. Stands approximately 8 1/2 inches tall, weighs approximately 8 pounds.
