Join us for Hike, Walk, and Skip With Your Heart, a celebration of the life-changing impact a caring family can have on a child growing up alone. Come have fun, honor the importance of family, and bring your friends along or help reach your fundraising goal! There’s no greater gift to a young person than a loving family.
How It Works:
Participants raise funds—individually or as part of a team—to support the meaningful work of giving older youth in foster care a voice and a choice in who becomes their family.
- Register: $25 (Free for kids 19 and under)
- Set Your Fundraising Goal: Suggested minimum of $500
- Invite Friends: Encourage others to join you
- Fundraise Online: Use your easy-to-create fundraising page to support Kidsave (We’ll provide the tools!)

Event History:
Hike With Your Heart began in 2015 as an outdoor event to enjoy beautiful scenery and meet local kids in foster care while taking a leisurely hike. It has since grown into Kidsave's premier outdoor fundraising and advocacy event held in multiple cities nationwide. The events now feature games, meals, T-shirts, shoes for the kids, and plenty of camaraderie.
