Conroe ISD high school juniors and seniors can participate in the largest annual gathering of prospective schools in the North Houston area for the District's free College Night Monday, October 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lone Star Convention Center.
 
Representatives from over 150 colleges and universities from across the country will be available for one-on-one conversations and share information about the application and admissions process. More than 60 schools in Texas will be in attendance, along with several well-known out-of-state schools such as Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Kansas, Kentucky, Iowa, Iowa State, LSU, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, and Washington State.
 
There are two pre-sessions beginning at 5:30 p.m. for “Military Service Academies and the Nomination Process” and “How to Prepare for a College Visit.” “College 101 and Financial Aid in Spanish” begins at 6:30 p.m., and “Financial Aid Facts” begins at 7 p.m.
