Get ready for another summer of exciting opportunities at TWCA RISE! Our dedicated TWCA staff has designed a wide range of academic, athletic, fine arts, and interest-based programs to keep students engaged and growing during the summer break.
Our specialized camps provide the perfect chance for students to recharge—spiritually, intellectually, creatively, physically, and socially—while spending time with friends and teachers.
2do Grado: !En Sus Marcas, Listos, Fuera! (2nd Grade: On your marks, get set, go!)
Ages: Spanish Immersion 2nd Grade

Time: 9 am - 12 pm
In this academic camp, rising SI 2nd graders will be prepared to start 2nd grade with their best foot forward. We'll review concepts from 1st grade and get a jump start on the 2nd grade by focusing especially on reading, writing, and math concepts, as well as, refreshing our Spanish language skills so that we are ready for 2nd grade! Although the focus will be on academics, we will work together in a fun and hands on way so that the kids enjoy our time together leave this camp feeling confident about the up coming school year! Note: This camp will be conducted entirely in Spanish and is intended for SI students.
General Information
- All camps take place at The Woodlands Christian Academy, unless otherwise specified in the camp description.
- RISE camps run from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, unless noted differently.
- Students enrolled in both a morning and afternoon camp may bring a packed lunch and eat with staff and fellow campers from 12:00 – 1:00 PM.
Registration & Enrollment
- Registration is first come, first served.
- Each camp must meet a minimum enrollment requirement. TWCA reserves the right to cancel under-enrolled programs. In such cases, students may transfer to another available camp or receive a refund upon request.
- If a camp reaches capacity due to simultaneous registrations, TWCA may issue a refund or move the student to an available camp of their choosing.
Behavior Expectations
All participants must adhere to TWCA’s standards. The following behaviors may result in withdrawal without a refund:
- Use of foul language
- Physical altercations or bullying
- Excessive horseplay
- Disrespecting staff or failing to follow instructions
Dress Code
- Dress codes vary by camp, but swimsuits and tank tops are not permitted.
- Shirts must not be longer than shorts, and all clothing must display school-appropriate logos and artwork.
Age Requirement
- PreK campers must be at least 4 years old and fully potty trained at the time of camp.
Fee Schedule
- A non-refundable $50 deposit is required per session and applies toward the total camp fee.
- Full payment is due at registration.
- A late pick-up fee of $15 per minute will be charged for students not picked up by 12:10 PM.
Refund Policy
- If a student is unable to attend, a written refund request must be sent to rise@twca.net by May 12, 2025.
- The $50 deposit is non-refundable.
- No refunds will be issued after May 12, 2025.
