We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Opener / Greeter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role is essential in ensuring that guests feel valued and appreciated as they enter our establishment. The Opener / Greeter will assist with guest relations, manage the flow of customers, and support the overall hospitality experience.
Key Responsibilities:
· Welcoming Families and Students
· Greet parents, students, and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
· Provide an overview of daily activities and any important information for parents.
Check-In/Check-Out Process:
· Ensure every student is accurately checked children in and out of the facility
· Ensuring all records are properly maintained
· Verify the identity of individuals picking up children and ensure they are authorized to do so.
Safety and Security:
· Ensure a secure check-in and check-out process, with attention to facility policies and procedures.
· Monitor the entry and exit of students to prevent unauthorized individuals from entering the facility.
Communication:
· Relay important messages or updates to parents via Brightwheel regarding their child’s day or upcoming events.
· Provide parents with information on daily activities, policies, or special events as needed.
Administrative Support:
Assist with organizing and filing paperwork, including enrollment forms, emergency contact information, and health records.
Help with scheduling appointments or meetings with parents and staff
And other duties as assigned by the campus director
Facility Maintenance:
Help maintain a clean and organized front area, ensuring it remains inviting for parents and children
Customer Service:
· Address any immediate concerns or inquiries from parents or visitors courteously and professionally.
· Provide a warm and friendly presence that fosters a positive experience for families
· High school diploma or equivalent (or currently pursuing).
· Previous experience in customer service or childcare.
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact positively with children, parents, and staff.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Basic administrative skills and proficiency with computer systems (e.g., Microsoft Office, check-in software).
· Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.
· CPR and First Aid certification
