Responsibilities
  • Communicate: Explain the menu, answer questions, and relay customer requests to the kitchen 
     
  • Work in a team: Collaborate with other front-of-house staff, like bartenders and managers, as well as back-of-house staff, like chefs 
     
  • Set up and break down: Help set up and break down the dining room, including cleaning tables, setting decorations, and refilling utensils 
     
  • Demonstrate hospitality: Be present and attentive to customers, even in busy or noisy environments 
     
  • Provide information: Help customers choose food and drinks, and make suggestions 
  • Take orders: Accurately take food and drink orders, and help customers pay 
     
  • Provide customer service: Ensure customers have a good experience by delivering food and drinks quickly, and checking on them 
     

Requirements and Skills:

* Experience serving in fine dining is preferred 

* Must have some wine knowledge and the eagerness to learn more

* Excellent guest relations

* TABC and Food Handlers certification

* Professional appearance and demeanor
