Preschool Ministry Coordinator: The Woodlands First Baptist Church – North Campus

Position Overview: The Woodlands First Baptist Church is seeking a Preschool Ministry Coordinator to oversee nursery operations, staff supervision, and administrative tasks to support a thriving preschool ministry. This role ensures a safe, organized, and Christ-centered environment for children and their families.

Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Supervision: Report directly to the North Kids Minister and partner in outreach efforts.Oversee nursery staff and supervise the check-in desk during services and events.Conduct staff hiring, training, evaluations, and meetings.

Operations & Administration: Maintain proper teacher-child ratios and ensure smooth daily operations.Organize and print rosters and room assignments in advance.Conduct regular walk-arounds and staff observations.

Communication & Conflict Resolution: Facilitate clear communication with staff, parents, and leadership.Mediate conflicts among staff, parents, or children as needed.

Budget & Payroll Management: Assist in budget planning and classroom improvements.Manage payroll responsibilities and staff appreciation initiatives.

Resource & Record Keeping: Maintain staff files, new hire packets, and training records. Dedicate weekly time to organizing supplies for services and special events.

Schedule: Sunday & Wednesday evenings, Thursday, GIANTS, and special events

Qualifications

Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience in teaching and mentoring children
Background in event planning and fundraising
Familiarity with Christian counseling and social work
Ability to provide bereavement support and hospice care
Proven experience working with children in a ministry or educational setting
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
