13th Annual Fall Home & Garden Show The Woodlands set for August 22-23
THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The 13th Annual Fall Home & Garden Show The Woodlands will be held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, 1601 Lake Robbins Drive, on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 22 and 23, 2015.
“Southeast Texas is blessed with two growing seasons,” said Tony Wood, president of Texwood Shows Inc., producer of the spring and fall home and garden shows in The Woodlands. “As we anticipate the advent of cooler weather, those attending the Fall Home & Garden Show can leave armed with not only expert gardening advice, but a wealth of information on updating their homes – inside and out.”
HGTV Design Star Abby Vasek returns to the Houston area for the show and will discuss interior design and home staging, providing her genuine, high-energy and extremely knowledgeable advice to those in attendance.
With a nod to the future of interior design, the Hunter Douglas feature exhibit, Simple Elegance, will demonstrate how homeowners can combine tomorrow’s technology with today’s hottest window fashion trends to customize their homes with automated coverings that can be programmed to open and close via a timer or smartphone app – conserving energy while saving money on heating and cooling costs.
Returning favorites to the Fall Home & Garden Show include the always-popular wine and beer tasting tent, as well as an outdoor feature exhibit by Stewart Land Design. Adaptable to almost any environment, homeowners who are interested in updating their landscape, adding a green space or even an outdoor kitchen can learn about their options from Stewart Land Design experts, who will be on hand to discuss the company’s design and installation services.
“The Woodlands Children’s Museum is once again the charity partner of the Annual Fall Home & Garden Show The Woodlands,” Wood said. “Since the home will always be the heart of the family, what better way to support home than sharing a portion of our success with one of the most popular family-friendly attractions in the area.”
Tickets for the 13th Annual Fall Home and Garden Show The Woodlands are $9 for adults, $8 for seniors, and children 12 years and younger can attend for free. Free covered parking is available in the parking garage behind the convention center next to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion at Six Pines and Lake Robbins. After parking take the pedestrian skywalk connected to the 4th floor of the garage that will lead you to the hotel/convention center.
